Licensed Professional Engineer with nearly 40 years of design and construction experience.

Managed over 100 infrastructure projects with a total cost in excess of $100 million.

Collaborated with numerous Federal, State, and Local agencies along with contractors and design professionals.
Personal
- Conservative. Tony has spent over a decade actively opposing tax increases in Shelby County. He led the fight to stop the annual 4% property tax hikes by the Shelby County Board of Education. Tony attended most meetings of this Board over a six year period (2012-2019) and was an outspoken critic of their financial management. The result- the majority of those School Board members were defeated or chose not to run again and there has been only one tax increase (2017) since 2012, saving taxpayers millions of dollars.
- Innovative, and a problem-solver, Tony has always been a detail-oriented and meticulous recordkeeper.
- Contributing resident of Shelby County for nearly 30 years.
- Married to Susan Anders Harover since 1984, father of 3 adult children, all graduates of Shelby County Public Schools.
- Member of Shelby Christian Church, former deacon and Sunday School teacher.
- Volunteer with Shelby County East Middle Academic Team.
- Former coach and member of Shelby County Parks Soccer Council.
